Bug bites! Turn blood red and have a white dot in the middle like a pimple is this normal?

These bug bites did look strange at first, so I covered them with band-aids so I wouldn't scratch, I didn't put any ointment just a band-aids. I took them off and now its super red and their is a yellow/white dot in the middle like a pimple, or bulls eye/target. Is this normal? They itch! I just cleaned my whole room spotless, vacuumed and everything. And I just got back from vacation too.
