Trying to find an old music video. Help?

I don't think it's really that old of a music video. It kind of reminded me of Howie Day...but anyways, in the music video, this guy is in love with this girl who is with another guy. He's singing on an old pier and he's in the rain. In the end I believe he falls into the ocean. Idk if this helps at all, I'd really love to find the video. Help?
