Got my pug today! will he ever stop grunting or is this a nonstop thing?

i got my pug today! (name is howie) =) he is too cute! but he just walks around nonstop like grunting/breathing really really loud almost as if hes really congested. i know that he can stop cuz as im writing this he just laid down and now hes breathing out of his nose. but whenever he's up walking around he's doing this and frankly, its a bit annoying lol. i know i could get used to it, i love him so much! but is there anything i can do to stop this or make it quieter? i realize thats probably just something pugs will do but it seems a bit much since whenever hes walking hes doing it. is there anything the vet can do to like open his nostrils or fix the issue? or something? thanks much
