Can a guinea pig with scurvy return to good health?

I strongly recommend you take little Howie Dewitt to an exotic vet asap so they can guide you through his healing. Right of the top of my head I am thinking they would give poor Howie pain medication so he can be more active and start to re build his muscle system. He should be on Oxbow Vitamin C tabs that most Exotic vets carry or you can get in most pet stores plus he will need a very strong diet, I would recommend a diet but I could be off so I think a vet should be the one that recommends the proper diet in this case. But yes I do think he will make a full recovery as long as he does not have any joint damage, if that be the case diet and pain meds will allow him to live a normal and comfortable life.
