Should I be concerned if I fainted after I got my tattoo done?

SO I just got my first tattoo yesterday. I fainted a little while after he started and then was fine during the rest of the tat. I did eat before I got it done, but he said it was normal to faint in the process of getting it done. Today, the morning after, as I was showering I started to feel lightheaded again after I washed it a little. So I sat down and continued my shower. After I got out though, I fainted again. Then as I was rubbing the A&D ointment on I had to sit down ONCE AGAIN because I was feeling dizzy. Is it "normal" for this to happen or should I be concerned?
