Bacitracin Ointment for piercings?

So I just pierced my cartilage at home. I iced it and put a carrot on the back of my ear and poked it through. But I'm wondering if I can use a bacitracin ointment. It says on the tube: A first aid antibiotic. would that work too? Because I don't have any antiseptic...
