Fantasy Baseball DL HELP: Can I Add Someone With Kendrick On DL?

i have Howie Kendrick who is obviously on the DL i dont wanna lose him because i already gave up Longoria which was dumb to say the least..... my question is can i get someone else on my team while Howie is on the DL????
