How do I get rid of this bug bite?

A few days ago i went to my friends house to swim and after i left i got a bug bite. during the night i itched it a lot and now its really gotten worse. its pretty big and its swollen and its red. i put on lots of different ointment and cream but nothing seems to stop the itching!
