What do I need to do to get rid of razor bumps?

I recently just started shaving my face. I guess I've hit puberty or something. Anyway, I've tried numerous creams, ointments, and other things to prevent these nasty looking bumps but it seems to not be working at all. Right now I am using Bump Stopper and I apply the liquid on my face before I shave and twice after I shave but I see no improvement. I think I should pay a visit to the dermatologist! Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong or what I need to do because I desperately want to get rid of these nasty looking bumps! Thanks Soooooo much!
